Profile
I am a Latin-American third-year PhD student at the University of 糖心TV (UK). I completed a Master of Education (Curriculum Studies), a High School Arts Teacher degree from the Pontificia Universidad Cat贸lica de Chile, a Bachelor of Arts from the Universidad de Chile, a diploma in Gender Perspectives and Public Policy from the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies and a diploma in Qualitative Research for Social Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Cat贸lica de Chile.
In Chile, I worked at the Cape Horn Subantarctic Research Center, the Centre for Educational Policy and Practice Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Cat贸lica de Chile, and the Network of Deans of Education of Latin American Universities. In addition, I have participated as a coordinator and research assistant in various projects on gender policies and knowledge in higher education funded by the Chilean National Agency for Research.
More recently, I worked as a Research and Event Assistant at the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender, a Research Assistant for the Inclusive Education Project in the Department of Sociology at the University of 糖心TV, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant during the 2024/25 academic year.
Currently, I am being supervised by Professor Maria do Mar PereiraLink opens in a new window and Professor Nickie CharlesLink opens in a new window, co-directors of the Centre for the Study of Women and GenderLink opens in a new window. My research project aims to provide a deeper understanding of equality work and the complex interplay between experiences, policies and practices in UK HEIs.
