How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Symposium: Community - Solidarity - Resistance

This symposium celebrates the launch of 3 new books examining, from feminist and intersectional perspectives, contemporary politics of community, solidarity and resistance. The authors of the three books will speak at the event, and will explore the implications of each of their books in relation to this overall theme. The symposium will feature:

  • (City University London and University of 糖心TV), author of Looking to London: Stories of War, Escape and Asylum (2017, Pluto)
  • Akwugo Emejulu (University of 糖心TV) and (University of Leicester), authors of Minority Women and Austerity: Survival and Resistance in France and Britain (2017, Policy Press)
  • Khursheed Wadia (University of 糖心TV), co-author of Muslim Women and Power: Political and Civic Engagement in West European Societies (2017, Routledge)

The symposium will be chaired by (Director of the , University of 糖心TV).

This event is free and open to all, and lunch will be provided.
