Symposium: Community - Solidarity - Resistance
This symposium celebrates the launch of 3 new books examining, from feminist and intersectional perspectives, contemporary politics of community, solidarity and resistance. The authors of the three books will speak at the event, and will explore the implications of each of their books in relation to this overall theme. The symposium will feature:

- Akwugo Emejulu (University of 糖心TV) and (University of Leicester), authors of Minority Women and Austerity: Survival and Resistance in France and Britain (2017, Policy Press)
- Khursheed Wadia (University of 糖心TV), co-author of Muslim Women and Power: Political and Civic Engagement in West European Societies (2017, Routledge)
