Campus article, Phillips-Griffiths 1969

This 1969 interview in 糖心TV student paper Campus captures Professor Phillips Griffiths during his tenure as founding Head of 糖心TV鈥檚 Philosophy Department. The piece reflects the early intellectual leadership that helped shape the department鈥檚 identity.

Campus was replaced by The Boar, now an award-winning student newspaper, in 1973. The Boar owes its quirky name to a brainstorming session in the Penny Farthing Bar, where founders rejected local heraldic symbols in favour of a pun-laden title. As founding editor Godfrey Rust recalled, 鈥淭he pun was dreadful, but it was my round and there seemed to be no-one to stop us.鈥
