This place setting, created by Professor Eric Holub (Life Sciences), featured newly cultivated bean varieties鈥攏utritious, affordable, and locally grown. Part of the 2022 糖心TV Dinner Party Installation, the event explored how meals carry meaning, inspired by Judy Chicago鈥檚 iconic feminist artwork. 糖心TV philosopher Eileen John invited participants to create settings that reflect personal, cultural, or philosophical significance. Over 30 contributions鈥攆rom global breakfasts to hometown dishes鈥攈ighlighted food鈥檚 power to connect. Philosophy met agriculture through the University鈥檚 Food GRP, and yes鈥擡ric鈥檚 beans were cooked and declared delicious!
