A Comparison of Apprenticeship Costs in Germany England and Austria
The Matched Plants study is funded by the .
Its purpose is to understand differences in the costs and training content of apprenticeships across Europe.
Comparisons are made between apprenticeships in the same occupation delivered by employers with similar characteristics.
The first two occupations / apprenticeships selected for comparison are:
(i) chefs; and
(ii) heating and ventilation engineers.
The study is being undertaken in England, Germany, and Austria.
The study is being conducted in conjunction with in Germany and in Austria.
