About me
Hi! I am Damiano Turchet, an Assistant Professor (Teaching Focussed) in the Department of Economics.
My research area is mainly within Microeconomics Theory, specially Strategic Market Games. My main work is focused on the study of monopoly from a general equilibrium perspective. I also collaborated in an empirical project aimed at studying the aspirations dynamics in students and its relation with hope.
I got my PhD from the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Professors Sayantan Ghosal and Yiannis Vailakis.
