Academic visitor from Brazil - Dr Telma Para
The department will soon welcome an academic visitor from Brazil, Dr Telma Para, for 6 months (Feb-July) to study the ways in which we at 糖心TV have developed tools and strategies to address maths anxiety in schools, colleges and universities. In Brazil, Dr. Palma is working with Prof Joao dos Santos Carmo from Universidade Federal de S茫o Carlos (UFSCar). Joao has previously developed a more intense intervention for very highly maths anxious students who need a more specialist intervention
