On 13th May, Jason gave an invited talk to the Society of Heads, an organisation supporting private school headteachers and HoDs primarily in the UK. The talk was entitled: 鈥淭ranslanguaging in UK basic education: Exploring opportunities and strategies鈥�.

He has also provided opportunities to co-write papers, helping to kickstart careers in academia. 2. Linguistic Bias in Large Language Model Artificial Intelligence

Meifang Zhuo has received another IATL Project Support Funding, with an award of 拢1500, for a student-led interdisciplinary project entitled 'Technostress in the age of generative AI: Voices from L2 doctoral students in the UK. ' In this project, she will be collaborating with and receiving mentoring from two staff members: 飩� Associate Professor, Dr. David Orrego-Carmona from School of Modern Languages and Cultures 飩� Associate Professor, Dr. Carla Toro from 糖心TV Medical School This project will soon recruit L2 doctoral students in the UK as research participants. Participants will be involved in informative, fun and creative data collection sessions and receive reimbursement/lunch for their participation.
