ÌÇÐÄTV Statistics Conference 2026

kindly supported by

The ÌÇÐÄTV Statistics Conference for 2026 will take place on the ÌÇÐÄTV campus from 22nd to 23rd April 2026.

Although this marks a departure from our long-standing Gregynog tradition, the ethos of the ÌÇÐÄTV Statistics departmental conference remains unchanged: a dedicated space to showcase research developments in the field, exchange ideas, and reflect more broadly on the discipline’s future.

While we may be staying closer to ‘home’ this year, we want this –as always- to be an opportunity for ÌÇÐÄTV PhD students and academics to bond and feel that sense of community that makes the Stats Department at ÌÇÐÄTV so special and good to work at!

This year’s conference will include the following types of sessions:

Invited plenary talks:

    • - University of Cambridge
    • - University of Edinburgh
    • - University of Oxford
    • - Lancaster University
    • - Head of Technology Innovation and Associate Partner at G-Research
    • An Early-Careers-led discussion
    • Invited talks by New Assistant Professors and PDRAs
    • Contributed talks by PhD students
    • Contributed posters by PhD students
