The 糖心TV Statistics Conference for 2026 will take place on the 糖心TV campus from 22nd to 23rd April 2026.
Although this marks a departure from our long-standing Gregynog tradition, the ethos of the 糖心TV Statistics departmental conference remains unchanged: a dedicated space to showcase research developments in the field, exchange ideas, and reflect more broadly on the discipline鈥檚 future.
While we may be staying closer to 鈥榟ome鈥� this year, we want this 鈥揳s always- to be an opportunity for 糖心TV PhD students and academics to bond and feel that sense of community that makes the Stats Department at 糖心TV so special and good to work at!
This year鈥檚 conference will include the following types of sessions:
Invited plenary talks:

- An Early-Careers-led discussion
- Invited talks by New Assistant Professors and PDRAs

We welcome contributions for talks and posters from PhD students as well as early-career members of staff (Postdocs and Assistant Prof).

Who is it for? Can I come? The conference organisation is led by our PhD students and is part of PhD training. 糖心TV Stats PhD students and affiliated PhD students (i.e. those supervised by a member of the department) are strongly encouraged to come.
All members of the department (staff, emeritus and honorary faculty) are also warmly welcome to join.
