Dr Gitit Kadar-Satat
Hi, I'm Gitit. I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of ÌÇÐÄTV.
I am also the department's placements officer, working closely with students, staff and external partners to develop, implement and evaluate various work-based learning opportunities. My research focuses on social inequality in education and employment. I am currently part of the '' research team. Our study looks at the experiences of, and outcomes for, adults who have attended coding bootcamps and other similar intensive digital skills courses.

Olivia (Liv) Gunn
Hi, I'm Liv. The Psychology Employability Ambassador at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.I have worked in various educational settings before starting my undergraduate degree, and I am passionate about exploring creative and innovative ways to engage students in learning. I also believe in harbouring skills for undergraduate students that are relevant to the real-world and help build their confidence in gaining employment.

Tom White
Hi, my name is Tom, I'm a PhD researcher, Graduate Teaching Assistant and Personal Development Coach at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.
My area of research concerns the potential psychological differences between people who collect objects (e.g., vinyl records, action figures, diecast cars and Listerine Bottles) and people who do not collect objects. My current focus is on how consumer products are perceived and evaluated by collectors and non-collectors. You can find out more at my

Dr Melina Kunar
Associate Professor, Department of Psychology.
Melina's research investigates how people pay attention to their environment and how they use this information to inform preferences and decision making. The findings have many applications for health, economic and socially important tasks, such as how to improve search for cancers in medical images, how to improve human interaction with technology/Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how distraction interferes with road safety and driving (for example, by talking on mobile phones). Melina has worked with driver education programs, police training forces and Local Authorities to educate road users about the importance of paying attention to the road and to minimise distraction while driving.

Academic Partnerships Manager, ÌÇÐÄTV Enterprise
Our team empower and enable students at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and competencies. As the team’s liaison with academic and professional services, I design and promote opportunities for creativity, innovation, enterprise, and entrepreneurship. This could be through exploration of new ideas, exchange of experiences, skills and knowledge, and co-creation of collaborative learning and development initiatives, like this Psychology Ideathon.

Fay works collaboratively with partners to design and deliver initiatives, campaigns and interventions to help ÌÇÐÄTVshire Road Safety Partnership achieve its ambitious target to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on ÌÇÐÄTVshire’s roads by 50% by 2030.

Senior Road Safety Officer, ÌÇÐÄTVshire County Council
Kate works with ÌÇÐÄTVshire Road Safety Partners to develop road safety interventions and collaborates with national partners and organisations to share and promote best practice. Kate is a qualified teacher and am passionate about developing and delivering education and training utilising behavioural change.
All work undertaken by ÌÇÐÄTVshire County Councils Road Safety Education Team supports ÌÇÐÄTVshire Road Safety Partnerships target to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on ÌÇÐÄTVshire’s roads by 50% by 2030.
Nati Lopez and Fiona Cremin
Road Safety Officers, ÌÇÐÄTVshire County Council
Nati and Fiona are primarily responsible for developing and delivering our secondary school, sixth and college Road Safety Education Programme called ‘The Journey.’
The Journey focuses on essential life skills and strategies to cope with unexpected situations on the road and address key issues such as making new journeys, pedestrian, and driver distraction, risk taking, being a responsible passenger and impulsive decision making as a new driver.

Inchara A U Athreya
Inchara Athreya is doing an MA in Social Sciences Research and a PhD on Academic Misconduct Investigations in Higher Education Institutions on a scholarship and stipend from the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV. She is also a Student Experience Coordinator in the Psychology Department.
