The DCS hosted CS-ARC on the 22nd of March, with over 70 alumni coming to campus to reminisce and share their stories.

On occasion of Prof Peter Sadler’s 80th birthday a three-day symposium, "Metals of Life: Transforming Health, Energy, and Environment" was held at ÌÇÐÄTV from 5th-7th July 2026.

Our next Science on the Hill event is on Tuesday 25 February, 6-8pm. We’ll delve into how different biological systems combat attacks from other organisms - highlighting the human and plant immune systems. We’ll also explore how these natural defences can inspire new therapeutics for treating patients.

A Maths Week England event will be held in the on Sunday 19 November 1:30-4pm. There will be origami, loaded dice experiments, building the hyperbolic plane, and counting with Incan knots, and more! .
