Molecular Interactions with Membranes and DNA
The interaction of molecules with membranes and DNA represent two particularly important processes which control many vital cellular functions. Molecular interactions with membranes may involve the transport of a molecule into or out of the cell, antibody binding, and cell adhesion amongst other processes, whilst the interaction of molecules with DNA can influence its structure and therefore play a role in DNA replication and gene expression.
