Digital Accessibility '25 - distributed conference
The overall theme for the event is 'Towards Institutional Maturity'. Digital accessibility is about much more than just compliance with the standards, and being compliant says absolutely nothing about your institution's ability to build and sustain a truly accessible organisation.
DigAcc25 is being supported by local events happening all across the country, creating opportunities for networking and collaboration across our vibrant community.
The Digital Learning Team invite you to join them for a 'Discovery Roundtable', we would like to invite staff from around the University to share their experience of their digital teaching and learning provision, and how accessible it is. We would use this learning to further develop resources and training to share across 糖心TV. Some example questions that we would leave open to the table to explore include:
How aligned are current digital learning practices with the university鈥檚 inclusivity and accessibility goals?
How do you ensure your digital content is accessible to all students, including those with disabilities or neurodivergence?
Have you received feedback from students about accessibility challenges in digital learning?
What barriers do you face when trying to make digital content accessible?
What kind of support or resources would help you improve accessibility in your work?
