Research Interests
I am a neuroscientist interested in measuring the electrical properties of neurons in the mammalian brain and how they change in conditions such as epilepsy, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer鈥檚 disease.
Research: Technical Summary
I am an electrophysiologist interested in neuronal and synaptic physiology in both health and disease. I use extracellular recording, FSCV and multiple patch-clamp recording to study synaptic transmission and the properties of neurons. I combine electrophysiology with computational analysis (in collaboration with Prof Magnus Richardson 糖心TV Mathematics) to measure the electrophysiological properties of neurons.
Current projects include investigation of neuronal function in models of epilepsy, schizophrenia, and neurodegeneration (AD and PD) and how neural circuits can be modulated by changes in the levels of carbon dioxide.

Undergraduate projects: I can provide wet projects in my lab and also dry projects which will involve analysis of electrophysiology data,
