Ailish Wratten wins presentation prizes!

PhD student Ailish Wratten won the Best Oral Presentation prizes at the MRS Spring 2022 conference for her contributions entitled "Demonstrating the Robustness of Hafnium Oxide Thin Films" and "Understanding Hafnium Oxide Passivation for Silicon Solar Cells" in the in EQ06 Surfaces and Interfaces and EN01 Silicon for Photovoltaics sessions, respectively. Well done, Ailish!

Potential PhD studentships for UK/ EU students (deadline: 31st March 2017)

I may be able to fund PhD studentships in the area of silicon photovoltaics for suitably qualifed candidates from the UK or the EU. UK students are eligible to receive full fees and living expenses; EU students just fees. If you are interested in doing a PhD in my group please contact me ASAP with a CV (john.d.murphy@warwick.ac.uk). Please note funding for non-EU applicants is not available due to restrictions imposed by the funder. The deadline for a full application is 31st March 2017, so please contact me by mid-March if you wish to make an application.
