Dr Weisi Guo leads a team in designing and building prototype molecular systems that can communicate in hostile environments. His recent papers have shown that molecular communications offers superior propagation characteristics over conventional wave-based systems. He and his team are the winner of the IET Innovation Award 2015: Communications Category; Weisi received his award at the ceremony in London on 18th November.
