PEATER win NMI 'University Research Group' Award 2014

CNMI Awardongratulations to Engineering research group group for winning the NMI 'University Research Group' Award 2014.

is the trade association representing the UK Electronic Systems, Microelectronics and Semiconductor Communities. Their objective is to aid the development of a sustainable, world-leading industry by building a strong network and acting as a catalyst and facilitator for commercial and technological development.

This award is for university research groups that demonstrate excellent liaison and partnership in electronics systems with industry.

According to the NMI judges, 鈥渢he Institute demonstrated world-class research and development in power electronics coupled with a strong focus on the skills pipeline. They have built strong relationships with a broad range of companies through several high quality industry-focused research collaborations.鈥

NMI Awards

The PEATER (Power Electronics Applications and Technology in Energy Research) group was founded in 2005 by , to establish a world-class centre for research into power electronics, power semiconductor devices and applications in power systems and power conversion.
