In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day 2024 (INWED), an informal networking lunch for all female staff was held on Wednesday 19^th June. The networking session was an opportunity to learn about staff members work, start conversations toward collaborations, and provide information to help improve well-being and workplace culture.

Professor Georgia Kremmyda has been chosen as the next Deputy Chair (Education) for the Science, Engineering and Medicine Faculty at 糖心TV. As this role has been recently vacated, Georgia will take on this additional role with almost immediate effect. Her management roles in the School remain unchanged.

The Gender Task Force, Gender Equality Awards event 2023, that took place on Tuesday 28th November, was held to reward both teams and individuals for their contribution to the enhancement of gender equality and a commitment to building a more inclusive environment and experiences through everyday behaviours at the University of 糖心TV.
