Diamonds in Space at Green Man Festival
Kerry Hazeldine
During mid-august, the CDT teamed up with Aberystwyth University Physics Department again to put on the very successful 鈥楧iamonds in Space鈥 stand at the family and environmentally friendly Green Man festival.
Festival goers headed over to 鈥楨instein鈥檚 Garden鈥 where the stand was based to learn all about where diamonds can be found in space using VR technology. They were also invited to come and have a chat with real diamond scientists whilst having their faces painted. Over the course of the 4-day festival, 900 visitors visited the stand.
