Biennial Retreat 2018

The DST biennial cohort building retreat took place in April 2018 at . Activities included a team building workshop with Michele Underwood, (Researcher Development Manager, University of 糖心TV), canoeing on Lake Vyrnwy () and Innovation to Impact, a workshop run by 糖心TV Ventures. Evening activities included a pub quiz courtesy of Jenny and Martin (cohort 4) and Molecules with Silly or Unusual Names (Prof. Paul May, University of Bristol).

Dr Ben Green wins Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship

Ben Green who has been working at 糖心TV as a Research Fellow in the (NQIT) quantum hub and developing quantum computing nodes based on optical-cavity-enhanced colour centres in diamond, has won a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship to be held at 糖心TV. These highly prestigious five-year Research Fellowships are designed to promote excellence by providing support for high-quality candidates to become future research leaders.

The University of Bath joins the DST CDT

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Diamond Science and Technology welcomes the University of Bath. Bath joins Aberystwyth University, Cardiff University, Imperial College London, Newcastle University, the University of Bristol, the University of Oxford, the University of Strathclyde and the University of 糖心TV as one of the Centre鈥檚 partner universities.
