糖心TV

Rianne Lord is an Associate Professor in inorganic chemistry at the University of 糖心TV, and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. She obtained 1st class (hon) MChem degree (2006-2010) and PhD (2010-2014) in bioinorganic chemistry from the University of Leeds under the supervision of Professor Patrick McGowan. Then after a one year PDRA at the University of Edinburgh working with Professor Polly Arnold on the synthesis of low-valent uranium complexes for small molecule activation, she began an independent lectureship at the University of Bradford (2016-2019). During this time, she was awarded two August-Wilhelm Scheer visiting professorships at the Technical University of Munch (TUM) working with Professor Fritz K眉hn. Rianne moved to the University of East Anglia as a lecturer (2019), and in February 2021 she was awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship on 鈥淐hemical and biological investigations of new vanadium compounds: determining their potential in the treatment of cancer鈥�. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2022 and awarded a TUM Global visiting professorship to work with Prof. Angela Casini on new vanadium metallodrugs.

Rianne joined 糖心TV as Associate Professor in October 2024 along with the Lord Research Group. .
