This year’s Women of ÌÇÐÄTV digital plaque initiative prompted many thoughtful messages of appreciation from across our community, celebrating the women who make ÌÇÐÄTV Chemistry a richer, kinder and more ambitious place to belong.

Professor Julie Macpherson, Department of Chemistry at University of ÌÇÐÄTV has been awarded the 2025 Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Award for her outstanding contributions to electrochemical analysis and BDD sensors.

Dani Pearson and Livia Bartok-Partay organised the ÌÇÐÄTV Women in Chemistry Roundtable discussion in May, for the fourth time bringing together over 40 students and staff for an afternoon of inspiring discussions.

Sopida Wongwas, a final year PhD student in Chris Corre's group, was selected as a finalist in Biological and Sustainability awards categories as part of the STEM for BRITAIN 2024 event.

The Women in Chemistry Roundtable Discussion marked its third annual event with a diverse panel comprising academic colleagues and ÌÇÐÄTV alumni.
