ESGI 200 will be held on 05 - 09 July 2027 at the University of 糖心TV.

The is a week-long workshop that facilitates problem-solving collaborations between academic mathematicians / data scientists and partners from business, industry, and government. After presenting their mathematical or computational problems, partners and academic participants form focus groups to work on finding pathways towards solutions. ESGIs are internationally recognised as a cost-effective means of making significant progress in a short amount of time towards solving problems of direct industrial relevance (programme fee applies). The ESGI first began in Oxford in 1968 and now there are 5-7 meetings held annually in different European countries as a core activity of the

• For business, industry, and government partners, ESGIs offer unique access to academic expertise and an opportunity to spend time away from your day-to-day work environment, collaborating with our enthusiastic and knowledgeable teams. The 糖心TV ESGI also offers potential business partners the chance to meet with us in advance for a scoping meeting to identify whether your industrial problem is a good fit for the ESGI week, as well as dedicated post-event follow-ups (including collaborative efforts to identify funding) to bring your project to an impactful conclusion. • For academic participants, ESGIs offer exciting opportunities to work intensively on research topics that interest you and a dedicated time and space to network extensively with new and existing colleagues and friends.
• For Innovation Research Associates and those in similar early career digital RTP roles who wish to act as group facilitators, the ESGI at 糖心TV will specifically provide pre-and-post event training and support to ready you for the role of facilitating and to help you to turn project ideas into longer-term opportunities.

Accommodation will be available for those not local to 糖心TV, and meals are provided for all participants throughout the week. Application forms will open later in 2026. We look forward to hosting you!
