Health Secretary Matt Hancock has emphasised the importance of supporting Artificial Intelligence and embracing technology to save lives.

Welcome Fayyaz Minhas

We are delighted to inform you that Fayyaz Minhas has joined the PathLAKE project as an Assistant Professor from October 2019.

Prior to joining 糖心TV, Dr. Minhas worked as a Principal Scientist at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, Pakistan since 2007. He has over 8 years of experience of teaching and research in computer science and has taught courses on Machine learning, Bioinformatics, Quantum Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Cancer Bioinformatics, Computational Biomolecular Design, Biometrics, Python Programming, etc. If you would like to find out more about Fayyaz Minhas, please visit our team section.

Welcome Shan Raza

We are delighted to inform you that Shan Raza has joined the PathLAKE project as an Assistant Professor from May 2019.

Before joining 糖心TV, Shan held a postdoctoral position for two years at the working on TRACERx lung project funded by . Prior to that, he worked for three years as research fellow at 糖心TV computer science department on a BBSRC funded project exploring the origin of new beta cells during pregnancy.
