GoLD Consultations
DEFRA has held two consultations on cost and responsibility sharing for animal health and welfare (2007 and 2009), and a draft bill (2010). DEFRA also held a consultation on the simplification of
livestock movement rules and holding identifiers in England (June 2010). The Scottish Government consulted on a scheme for control of bovine viral diarrhoea (2010). We responded to these consultations; the details and our responses are below.
