Research Topic
Loup鈥檚 thesis is an ethnography of algorithmic transparency in French public organisations. His methodological framework is drawing on science & technology studies, anthropology and design research.
Working title: Theatres of algorithmic transparency: a post-digital ethnography.
Background
Loup joined 糖心TV in 2016 as a full-time PhD researcher. Prior to coming at 糖心TV, Loup worked at FING (Fondation Internet Nouvelle G茅n茅ration) a think-tank based in Paris where he improved the 鈥渄ata literacy鈥 of citizen communities thanks to research-action workshops. He also has an experience as a data visualisation designer at Medialab Sciences-Po (Paris, FR) as well as the Digital Humanities Lab at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, CH), two centres focused on the development of digital methods for social science and humanities. Loup holds a BA in Digital Storytelling from Universit茅 Paris 13 (2013) and an MA in Information Architecture from Ecole Normale Sup茅rieure (2015).
