Professor Celia Lury elected as Fellow of the British Academy
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM) is very happy to announce that Professor Celia Lury has been elected joining two other University of 糖心TV academics who have been recognised for their important and influential research in the humanities and social sciences.
The President of the British Academy Professor Susan J. Smith PBA stated 鈥淚 am delighted to welcome our newest Fellows to the British Academy. Each has made an outstanding contribution to their field, and together they reflect the remarkable breadth and depth鈥痮f scholarship across our disciplines.
At a time鈥痺hen society is grappling with radical uncertainty in the face of technological, economic and environmental change, the humanities and social sciences have never been more important.鈥�
Professor Lury reflecting on her fellowship said
"I am honoured to have been elected as a Fellow of the British Academy. Throughout my career I have been interested in how societies are changing, and in developing new ways for researchers to study those changes. I hope to be able to draw on my experiences in CIM in my contributions to the Academy as the value of interdisciplinary methodology is increasingly recognised."

Professor Lury joins Professor Sonia Bhalotra, Professor of Economics and Professor Kirsty Hooper, Professor of Hispanic Studies who have been elected as Fellows this year.
