Taking place on campus next month, this exciting talk by Prof Simon J Lock and Dr Emma Jones presents findings from semi-structured interviews with 81 LGBTQ+ staff at a Russell Group university in London, highlighting how cisnormativity and mononormativity emerge as distinct yet interconnected dimensions of heteronormativity in their accounts.
There are many opportunities to get involved with LGBTQUIA+ inclusion initiatives across the University, so you can always find something related to your skills, experience, and interests.
Staff and students with an interest in trans inclusion work are invited to join (launched in spring 2025).
Opportunities to get involved with the programme include becoming a contact for your department, contributing to guidance/resources, attending or participating in events, collaborating on research, and providing feedback on institutional policies, processes or practices.
