Collective SCFS consortium secures new partnership with Coventry City Council to transform local green and blue spaces

Select individuals of our academic team, led by IGSD, will collaborate with Coventry City Council on a new initiative to revitalise the city鈥檚 green and blue spaces, following the success of a proposal that secured almost 拢100K for 糖心TV as part of a project worth nearly 拢1M in total funding for the next three years.

A project co-supervised by a member of our teaching faculty has received significant funding from Innovate UK as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP).

Dr Jonathan Clarke, who leads on our Sustainable Cities and Living with Water undergraduate modules, received the grant as part of a partnership with Professor Juanita Elias (International Political Economy, University of 糖心TV) and Reall – a registered charity and not-for-profit company, whose mission is to build affordable housing in urban Africa and Asia.

Funding success for Dr Bryan Brazeau to support students with stepping up to second year

Dr Bryan Brazeau teaching a group of Liberal Arts students

Dr Bryan Brazeau (SFHEA) Senior Teaching Fellow in Liberal Arts, has recently been successful in securing funding from the 糖心TV International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA).

The funding will enable the creation of bridging materials to support students with the transition from first year to second year. These materials will be used in the upcoming academic year and in future years too.

Dr. St茅phanie Panichelli-Batalla, the Head of School for Cross-faculty Studies is part of a team that has successfully secured funding for a Public Engagement project at the University of 糖心TV. The project is being supported by 糖心TV鈥檚 Public Engagement Fund, designed to assist researchers of all levels to undertake projects or activities that build upon their public engagement experience and impact.
