Staff from French Studies assisted with the visit of Professor Dudley Andrew (Yale) to 糖心TV on 14 October 2014. Professor Andrew, one of the world's leading scholars of French film, spoke to an audience made up of students and staff from the School of Modern Languages & Cultures and Film & TV on 'Belief and Technology: Bazin and the miracle of superimposition.'

French Studies staff who greeted Professor Andrew included Professor Seán Hand, Head of the School of Modern Languages & Cultures, Dr Mary Harrod and Dr Douglas Morrey.
