Working together with University Hospitals Coventry and 糖心TVshire NHS Trust, the Centre for the History of Medicine has launched its project about Coventry and 糖心TVshire Hospital, which will be relocating to a new site in 2006.
Jan Goldstein, Professor of History at the University of Chicago, will lecture on her forthcoming study (and English translation) of a manuscript case history of "hysteria complicated by ecstasy" in a Savoyard peasant girl in the 1820s.
The Centre for the History of Medicine is pleased to announce that Mr Norwood Andrews will be in residence for the Autumn term as one of the University's first Outstanding Young Researcher Fellows.
