How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Institute of Historical Research Seminar
Wolfson Research Exchange - Library

You are invited to the event at the University of 糖心TV, Wolfson Research Exchange, on Wednesday 14th January 2009 2-6pm being organised by the Institute of Historical Research.

The event at University of 糖心TV is an afternoon session. There will be a 45 minute presentation on the IHR, its history, current activities and the plans we have for the future. The IHR speaker will be accompanied by some of their colleagues who will be able to describe in more detail some of the work of our different sections. These presentations will be followed by either Q&A, or, if the numbers permit, small break-out groups for further discussion. The occasion will conclude with a drinks reception.

The IHR, established in 1921, is funded by HEFCE to facilitate research nationwide. With 60 staff and a £3m turnover we are equipped to provide a range of activities. We offer research training, hosting of events, listings, publications, digital resources, bibliographical services and support postgraduate and early career researcher networks. We run a junior research fellowship programme and are home to a world-class open access research library. We also publish Historical Research and Reviews in History.

Event 2pm to 5pm with wine reception from %.

If you would like to attend please let Tracy Horton asap know preferably by Thursday of week 1 (8th January 2009)
