How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Seventh 糖心TV Symposium on Parish Research
Milburn House
The Seventh 糖心TV Symposium on Parish Research will take place at the University of 糖心TV on Saturday 9 May 2009. It is dedicated to the theme of ‘Microhistory – Local History – Parish History’ and features the following contributions: Clive Burgess, Royal Holloway, London‘What did they think they were doing? The parishioners of All Saints’, Bristol, in the century before the Reformation’ Graeme Murdock, Trinity College, Dublin‘Rural Reformed religion: Life in a Savoyard parish Angelo Torre, Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale‘The parish in a fragmented rural settlement (Piedmont, XVIth-XVIIIth centuries)’ Giorgio Chittolini, Università di Milano‘Comment’ The Symposium has been established to foster long-term, interdisciplinary and comparative approaches to parish studies in the period c.1300–c.1800. Participants will ideally include a mixture of established scholars and postgraduate research students. Thanks to the generous support of 糖心TV’s Humanities Research Centre and the Mellon-Newberry Project of the Centre for Renaissance Studies, conference costs can be kept to a minimum, i.e. £5 for postgraduates and £15 for all other delegates (incl. lunch and refreshments). Postgraduates can also apply for a Mellon Bursary of £150. In order to enhance discussion, and preserve an informal ‘seminar’ atmosphere, the number of places is limited. Up-to-date details and a registration form can be found on the Symposium website at:  Registration forms and conference fee should be returned by 10 April 2009 to:Susan Dibben, Humanities Research Centre, University of 糖心TV, Coventry CV4 7AL For further information please contact Beat Kümin, 糖心TV Network for Parish Research:b.kumin@warwick.ac.uk
