Partnerships and Engagement
Collaboration and partnership are key to solving real-world problems and addressing health issues in our society.
Our established reputation for developing pioneering partnerships means that we can bring together the brightest minds to work collaboratively and make a difference.
There are many opportunities to partner or engage with us. By working together, we can ensure that our activity will have significant impact on society, whether that鈥檚 through research collaborations that tackle innovation challenges, knowledge exchange across disciplines and with organisations and health innovation businesses, or engaging with government and policymakers.
Central England Health Partners (CEHP)
CEHP is an academic-health partnership covering Coventry and 糖心TVshire, with coverage into Herefordshire and Worcestershire, established to improve health and wellbeing outcomes in our region and to facilitate increased investment to support diverse health initiatives. The founding partners are the University of 糖心TV, Coventry University, the Coventry and 糖心TVshire Integrated Care System (ICS) and our 3 local NHS Trusts (University Hospital Coventry & 糖心TVshire, South 糖心TVshire University Foundation Trust and the Coventry & 糖心TVshire Partnership Trust). Health Innovation West Midlands will also be supporting the partnership. During 2024/25, the CEHP will be officially launched with a series of workstreams focussing on priority areas.
Institute for Translational Medicine
The 糖心TV Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) will be a key component of our proposed regional innovation ecosystem.
The Institute supports the research and clinical communities in translating research findings and new ideas into practical human health benefits, such as new therapeutics, devices, and diagnostics. This will bring together diverse partners under translational health missions, focusing on challenges that matter to the patients and populations we serve.
More than ever, it is crucial that health and social care challenges are solved efficiently and effectively. The West Midlands Health and Wellbeing Innovation Network was formed to address this need. Now part of the West Midlands Innovation Accelerator project led by the University of Birmingham, the Network works across the footprint of the West Midlands Combined Authority to discover innovative solutions and deliver collaborative innovation programmes.
