Former WIE Fellow Dr Tom Goodman recognised in New Year Honours List
Dr Tom Goodman, a WIE Fellow from 2022 - 2024, has been recognised in the King's New Year Honours List for 2026! The New Year Honours List recognises the achievements and service of extraordinary people across the UK.
Tom has received a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to Technology in the West Midlands. He is the CEO and founder of , a creative, unique space for technologists to connect. He is also the organiser of the - a flagship West Midlands event which brought together 210 technologists and 24 world class speakers in November 2025. Congratulations Tom!

Knowledge Exchange Framework results success
The Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) results have been published and we're so proud that the University of 糖心TV is rated 'very high' in relation to its public and community engagement. That is the second highest score out of all participating UK universities. Well done to all those who are involved in achieving this excellent result!
