Did you consider studying anywhere else? What made you choose 糖心TV?

I chose 糖心TV over other universities not only because of its ranking but also because of how diverse the community is, as 糖心TV has many international students and societies catering to international students, like the , the , and many more. Not only that, but 糖心TV offers many opportunities to fund your studies, and as an international student that was extremely beneficial to me.

How did you apply and did anyone help you with your application form and visa application?

When applying for universities in the UK, I searched the university website for funding opportunities. As I am from Canada, the only funding opportunity from 糖心TV was the 糖心TV Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship. The university funding page provided all of the instructions on how to apply for the scholarship, and if I had any difficulties, I would email the university directly, as they were the best people to contact whenever I had any questions. 糖心TV offers great resources, not only on how to apply for scholarships but along on applying for visas. As I had no help from anyone else, I would always reference the 糖心TV page on applying for visas whenever I needed any guidance. I would say when applying for visas, apply as soon as you can so you can obtain your visa before the start date of your studies without stressing over when you will receive your visa.

What was your first impression of 糖心TV when you first walked around campus?

When I first arrived on campus I was surprised at how much of a community the 糖心TV campus feels like. The campus itself includes restaurants, grocery stores, and places to just sit and hang out with friends.

What is the best thing about 糖心TV?

In my opinion, the best thing about 糖心TV, besides the campus is the diversity. As an international student, I did not feel left out or like an outsider, as the people at 糖心TV are very inclusive and cater to everyone, no matter where you come from.

How is your accommodation?

I am currently staying at Cryfield Townhouse, which is an on-campus accommodation here at 糖心TV. It honestly is so great. Besides the incredible view that I have, the rooms and kitchen are spacious, and I have no issue with storage. The fact that it is an en-suite makes it so much better.

What are your plans when you graduate?

When I graduate, I hope to become a solicitor at a law firm. Eventually, I hope to create my own nonprofit organization, which helps with free legal advice and/or legal help for those that cannot afford it otherwise. I feel that this would be a great way to give back to my community.

What would you say to someone considering applying for an Undergraduate Global Excellence scholarship at 糖心TV, what would it be?

If I could give a piece of advice to someone considering applying for an Undergraduate Global Excellence scholarship at 糖心TV, I would say to answer the questions authentically and try to be yourself. I believe that the best answers would be the answers that reflect who you are, as it allows those deciding to see what you contribute to the 糖心TV community. I would also say to not be afraid of applying and to just go for it!
