The provides bursaries to individuals, clubs, societies and other groups of 糖心TV students to help fund extra-curricular activities. They are one-off contributions of up to £1,000 and are aimed at supporting unique activities that will benefit the individuals involved and help enrich their 糖心TV experience. The closing date for applications is 2pm, Monday 8 February 2016.
During 2015 a number of UK universities have reported that some of their students have been victims of telephone and email fraud from someone claiming to be from the Home Office. Please remember that the Home Office will never call an international student to request payments or ask for personal details in this way. DO NOT make payments or give information to anyone calling you like this.

The Lord Rootes Memorial Fund supports challenging projects with grants between £100 and £3,000. The deadline for applications for projects taking place in summer 2016 is Thursday 7 January 2016 at 12pm (midday).
Christmas market @ University House restaurant
This week there are stalls selling festive food and drink from around the world, books, gifts and crafts. Can we tempt you to come and try sweet crepes and savoury galettes, luxury gingerbread hot chocolate, bratwurst, bockwurst and pulled brisket rolls and Middle Eastern inspired dishes? There will also be a gift wrapping service (bring your presents and have them stylishly wrapped), a Christmas shop selling hampers, freshly baked bread, wines, chocolates and all sorts of festive treats plus a gift shop selling a range of Christmas gifts.

There will be a short Menorah Lighting Ceremony today at 17:15. Rabbi Fishel Cohen, Jewish Chaplain will light the 4th Chanukah light, followed by the singing of Maor Zur and doughnuts will be distributed to participants. Gather round the Menorah, situated on the grass between Rootes and the bus interchange. All welcome. Happy Chanukah!

This Christmas, RAW need your help to support Mind, and raise awareness for mental health issues.
