Severe weather guidance – Sunday 10 December
As you may be aware, there are currently poor weather conditions affecting the University campus and immediate area. The Registrar has therefore invoked the University’s severe weather policy.
As per this policy, your department will contact you directly if there are any changes to timetabled activities on Monday 11 December due to the weather. We expect normal work and study arrangements to resume on Tuesday 12 December.
If you have any queries about matters relating to your course, please contact your department. For any urgent concerns please contact the Campus Security team.

You can bask in Team GB’s Olympic glory as Coventry welcomes home some of Team GB’s Rio heroes on Saturday, August 27, at the Ricoh Arena from 9:30 – 3pm. You can meet some of Team GB’s 2016 medallists and competitors, and try taster sessions in football, rugby, netball, gymnastics, tennis, wheels for all cycling, badminton, street cricket, exercise & fitness classes, golf, equestrian, trampolining and a 10 metre climbing wall. There will also be demos and taster sessions from England Netball, Wasps Netball, and The Lawn Tennis Association.

We've won the Excellence in Student Sport Experience Award at the CUBO 2016 Awards for the Active programme. The CUBO Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of those working within the higher education industry, and this recognises our efforts to get students active!

Water leak on Kirby Corner Road
A full water supply has been restored to all areas of campus. There may be some residual limitation on the flow of water in Millburn House, but Severn Trent have advised that this is expected to be temporary. There are temporary traffic lights on Kirby Corner Road to manage the flow of traffic immediately around the burst water main, so please anticipate delays if you use this route. Brief closures of University Road during Graduation
To support this week's Graduation ceremonies, we will close University Road near the Arts Centre for 5 - 15 minute periods to aid the processions and the large volumes of people exiting the Arts Centre when the ceremonies end. Please be parient during this key moment in our academic year.

Over 5000 campus rooms are being vacated in the big summer move out, and this means 538 kitchens need to be cleared. Rawkus need lots of helping hands to collect the tonnes of left behind food and pots which will be redistributed to local charities and organisations. The cycles we use as part of our campus bike rental scheme will be unavailable after the end of Thursday 16 June for 7-10 days. Nextbike, the company who provide the bikes, are taking them away for some essential maintenance. Thank you to all who’ve supported the scheme so far – we’ll get your bikes back in action as soon as we can.
