DESCRIPTION:Following on from the hugely successful event last year\, Que
 stion Time will be hosted once again by the Departments of Economics and
  PAIS\, and promises to be an exciting and engaging evening which will f
 ocus on ‘Globalisation and Anti-globalisation’. Very similar in format t
 o the popular BBC television show\, this will be an excellent opportunit
 y to engage with politicians\, policy makers and academics on major issu
 es and questions that concern the world. The event will take place on Mo
 nday 2 October from 6.15-7.45pm in Butterworth Hall\, ÌÇÐÄTV Arts Centr
 e\, one of the most prestigious venues on campus where BBC Question Time
  was once filmed. To attend you will need to register. We encourage you 
 to secure your place as soon as possible. We are delighted to announce o
 ur excellent panel which includes: Professor Kate Williams\, historian a
 nd broadcaster specialising in modern history\, royal and constitutional
  affairs. She is also a Professor of Modern History at the University of
  Reading. Kate is also a bestselling author of six historical books incl
 uding a biography of Josephine Bonaparte. Chris White\, MP for ÌÇÐÄTV a
 nd Leamington from 2010 to 2017.He was the author of the Social Value Ac
 t and a member of the ÌÇÐÄTV\, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select C
 ommittee. Chris is the Vice-Chair of the think tank Policy Connect and p
 atron of the International Development charity Cord\, now based in Coven
 try. Katy Chakrabortty\, Head of Advocacy at Oxfam GB. Katy leads the te
 am focused on Oxfam's political influence in the UK\, and its relationsh
 ip with the UK government and parliament. Her background is in political
  campaigning and parliamentary advocacy\, having previously worked for t
 he Electoral Reform Society\, Amnesty International\, and DeHavilland. S
 amira Ahmed\, award winning journalist and broadcaster\, and a visiting 
 professor of Journalism at Kingston University with a special focus on c
 ulture and its overlap with politics. She presents the weekly programme 
 Newswatch on BBC One and is one of the main presenters of the BBC Radio 
 4 Arts programme Front Row. Dr Dennis Novy\, Associate Professor of Econ
 omics at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV and a Research Fellow at the Centre f
 or Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He is also an Associate at the Centr
 e for Economic Performance (CEP) at the London School of Economics and w
 as the Specialist Adviser to the House of Lords on the Transatlantic Tra
 de and Investment Partnership (TTIP) Dr Faiza Shaheen\, economist\, writ
 er\, activist and commentator. Prior to this\, Faiza was Head of Inequal
 ity and Sustainable Development at Save the Children UK\, where she led 
 on the development of a new global campaign on inequalities in child out
 comes\, and Senior Researcher on economic inequality at the New Economic
 s Foundation (NEF). Dr Trevor McCrisken from the Department of Politics
