Sam visits the group of Marisol Martín González, Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology, Madrid, September 2018 through an Arthur Shercliff Travel Scholarship. During the visit Sam gave a presentation detailing the work of the Computational Nanotechnology Lab and was introduced to the wide variety of fabrication and characterisation machines that their group uses. The visit allowed for close discussions regarding future collaborations and was also a great opportunity for Sam to experience an experimental laboratory.
