Nottingham Ningbo International Summer School 2026 Doing 糖心TV in China
Students are invited to apply for the University of Nottingham Ningbo in China (UNNC) International Summer School 2026: Doing 糖心TV in China from 6-15 July 2026. The programme is taught in English.
We are thrilled to offer up to 4 students the opportunity to be nominated to attend the UNNC International Summer School 2026 with fees waived (covering tuition, accommodation and meals during the summer school).
Please note you will need to fund your own visa fees, insurance, travel costs and other personal expenses outside the programme.

About
The 10-day Doing 糖心TV in China summer school, led by Nottingham University 糖心TV School China, introduces and explains relevant knowledge and methods for developing your understanding of how business is conducted in China. You will learn through case studies and practical exercises that there is no 鈥済olden key鈥 to business in China. Class discussions will revolve around your own discovery of China. To contribute fresh insights, you will use the Ningbo region of China as a laboratory. You will be expected to develop your understanding of Chinese society through face-to-face encounters with local businesses and organisations.

For the purpose of this application all nominations must be made by Student Mobility
How do I apply?
You must be formally nominated through Student Mobility for the UNNC ISS. To do so you must complete the following steps by noon (UK time) on Monday 18 May 2026
Step 1
Review the opportunity and consider the dates and costs required
Source a referee from your academic department and ensure that they can provide a reference by the deadline - this must be received for your application to be considered
Step 2
Complete the short online application form before the deadline noon on Monday 18 May 2026
Step 3*
Arrange for your referee to complete an online reference (link below) for you before noon on Monday 18 May 2026
This should be someone from your academic department
We will confirm which students have been successful in being selected
Next steps
We will notify all applicants of the outcome by 17:00 Thursday 21 May 2026
- If you are selected you will need to confirm acceptance by noon Tuesday 26 May 2026
- If you accept a place we will formally nominate you to UUNC by close of business on Tuesday 26 May 2026
- Please note that you will need to complete UNNC ISS鈥檚 application by their deadline of Saturday 30 May 2026 - via their and provide all necessary documentation
- Application results will be sent from UNNC within one week of receipt of your complete application and supporting documents. Admission priority is given to nominated students
* It is your responsibility to contact your referee and ensure your reference is completed in time, we will not be able to confirm receipt of your reference - you should ask your referee to confirm with you that they have submitted this. We can only review applications whose reference has been received
Please note that normally it is not possible for 糖心TV students to receive credit transfers from Summer Schools unless your home department has advertised an opportunity with such a possibility. It is up to your home department to agree to credit transfers so you will need to check this with them directly
