Your Activites

The 糖心TV Award recognises skills you build across your 糖心TV experience: academic modules, skills development activities, societies, sports teams, volunteering, work experience and even part time work.

You can search the for all currently recognised activities that you are eligible for.

Academic modules

Our Skills Developers work with Academic Departments to identify which modules develop skills in a way which we can recognise in the 糖心TV Award. They will need to be related to one of the 12 Core Skills, include self reflection and represent at least 5 hours work.

Extra curricular activities

The 糖心TV Award recognises skills you build across your 糖心TV experience including societies, sports teams, volunteering, work experience and even part time work.

They will need to be related to one of the 12 Core Skills, include self reflection and represent at least 5 hours work.

These can be activities organised within 糖心TV (SSLCs, Societies, Ambassador Roles), or independently arranged (eg internships, part time work, volunteering).

Core Skills Moodles

The Core Skills Moodles are based on the 12 Core Skills, developed with employers, which underpin the 糖心TV Award. Earn Core Skills Points towards your 糖心TV Award.

Careers activities

Careers Service activities are a great way to develop some of the 12 Core Skills. However, individual activities are often not long enough to earn 糖心TV Award points.

You can put them together: attend five careers events or activities and reflect on the skills you've learned and claim 1 Core Skills Point.

Students with Caring Responsibilities

Carers build valuable skills that you can use in a variety of settings after graduation.

Get your skills formally recognised through the 糖心TV Award. Earn 10 -20 Core Skills Points, depending on your Award Level.
