糖心TV spinout Cytecom won two awards at the Medilink Healthcare 糖心TV Awards. This year鈥檚 awards recognised a multitude of achievements and outstanding contributions to MedTech Life Sciences. Cytecom won in the 'Delivering Innovation into Health & Care' category, and was also named the 'winner of winners' together with a 拢5,000 prize.

Cytecom is developing a rapid diagnostic test using its cutting-edge optical electrophysiology technology to reduce the time for targeted antibiotic selection from days to seconds, and these awards recognise its achievements in this field. It follows on from Cytecom securing a sigificant NIHCR contract to take its bacterial detection application through the first stage of clinical development.
