Meet the Digital Learning Team
The Digital Learning team comprises 4 functional areas - Educational Technology, Learning Design, Digital Learning Faculty Support, and the Management and Projects team - as well as cross-team working groups with a specific pedagogic focus and interest. We work alongside and consult with academics and departments to design courses and use multimedia and online learning tools to create educational experiences.

Faculty Consultant - Social Sciences
I work with staff to help find solutions to teaching and learning problems they are facing, using learning design methodologies and my experience to help find a solution that enhances teaching, learning, and student experience.
I'm interested in AI, design thinking and learning design.
Cameron Deans
Multimedia Creator
I design and create a range of multimedia educational resources, including animation and video production.
I鈥檓 interested in emerging digital learning trends and in supporting subject matter experts in the digital leaning environment to best communicate their expertise.
Paul Ottey
Faculty Consultant - Science, Engineering & Medicine
I work with staff across the University to develop technology-based teaching and learning.
I am interested in developing digital skills and methods to support staff and engage learners.
Jath Pathmanathan
Senior Learning Designer
I manage the Learning Design team. I specialise in innovation and developing ideas into deliverables that relate to teaching and learning.
I am interested in applying digital learning tools and resources to help understand complex information in refreshing and creative ways. This includes innovative approaches like gamification, VR/AR usage and integration of AI.
Jesse Young
Motion Graphics Designer
I create audiovisual content to support elearning content, communicating concepts in a clear and appealing way.
I'm interested in how multimedia can be used to create a smoother and more accessible learning experience.
