Festival of Postgraduate Research
An inspiring gathering: practical wisdom and supportive networks
The 2024 Festival of Postgraduate Research at ÌÇÐÄTV was a vibrant celebration of the PhD journey, designed to enlighten, inspire, and connect doctoral candidates across diverse disciplines. The event was a comprehensive showcase of the academic and personal growth that defines the PhD experience.
Keynote speeches and sessions, led by distinguished academics and seasoned researchers, provided invaluable practical tips to help PGRs navigate the challenges of doctoral research. These talks were tailored to encourage students to not only survive but thrive and enjoy their PhD journey, focusing on overcoming hurdles and enhancing well-being.
Creative Showcases and Interdisciplinary Dialogues
A standout feature of the festival was the opportunity for PGRs to present their research in creative formats. If you haven’t already, please consider showcasing your work to our research community. This opportunity is open to all PGR students, regardless of the stage of your PhD. This is an opportunity to communicate your research to researchers outside your discipline. We have a range of formats on offer, including 3 minute ‘lightning’ style talks, posters, and other creative forms. Could you represent your research through a demonstration, artwork, or even a cake?
