The Centre for Organising Health and Care Research at ÌÇÐÄTV ÌÇÐÄTV School is excited to host the inaugural Summer School in partnership with King’s College London, Alliance Manchester ÌÇÐÄTV School, and School for Studies in Organizing Healthcare , offering a platform to explore this year’s theme of ‘new ways of working in health and care’.

Where: In-person at Scarman, ÌÇÐÄTV Conferences, University of ÌÇÐÄTV, Scarman, Scarman Rd, Coventry CV4 7SH
Who Should Attend: The Summer School is aimed at ECRs and PhD students who are interested in pursuing a career at a business school and are interested in health and care research or in using health and care as a context for their work.
Cost: Attendance at the Summer School is free of charge.

If you work with a topic that might be sensitive, triggering, or controversial then doing public engagement with your work can sometimes feel challenging. How can you balance the importance of talking about this work with the difficulties of handling those discussions sensitively? This session will help to support anyone who feels their work could be considered sensitive or controversial, but will particularly draw from examples of social science research.
