Designed for Postgraduate Researchers at later stages.

Preparation is key for any academic interview questions. Academic jobs are so competitive it is critical to prepare as thoroughly as possible. This is a full day, small group training event. During the day we will discuss advance preparation, on the day of the interview and presentations.

You will also have the opportunity to be interviewed and receive feedback on your performance from the interviewers and three observers. You will also have the opportunity to interview since it will help you gain perspective on the challenges interviewers also face.

This is challenging and intensive day, and deliberately kept to small numbers working together for the whole event.

You will need to bring three copies of a job that you are interested in, and three copies of your current CV.

All RSSP sessions are active, interactive, involve individual and group discussions; and are supported by key pedagogical best practise and coaching theory. Be prepared to contribute to your own and your colleagues learning and development.
