On Track: Organising an Academic ConferenceWolfson Research Exchange Rooms 1 & 2, Floor 3 Extension, LibraryAcademic CVs are daunting, and everyone says you should add conference organising to yours if you wish to pursue a career in academia. However, organising and participating in conferences has more advantages than just filling out a line on your CV; they are great opportunities to further your research and hear about exciting advances and discoveries in your field. Most of all, they are wonderful opportunities for discussion and exchange with other scholars. So, come and learn more about organising conferences! From funding applications to abstract review and post-conference publication projects, all aspects of organising academic conferences will be discussed in this workshop.
