Viva preparation Maximum 10 participants Please note we will send you the session link the day before ( it will also appear in your calendar) Join us to learn how to prepare for your viva, understand the types of questions you might be asked and where to get the details for examination logistics at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV. The session will also provide you with the opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions and practise answering potential viva questions. The focus will be entirely on on-line Vivas. To get the best from attending this session you are advised to attend the full two hours. We will be sharing knowledge with you for the first 30 minutes, and then giving you time to prepare and practice for a mini mock viva. All sessions are on line in Microsoft Teams. Please book as usual on Skills Forge. We will add you to the event, and it will appear in your Teams calendar the day before. We will also send you a reminder. On the day/ time, just click on the link and it will take you in. Please mute your mic & close your video until asked to join in the group. Please make yourself familiar with the new Researcher On Line Team and the resources there. If you are new to Microsoft Teams you will find under the ‘Start Here’ channel information on how to navigate the system and hints. Each session will begin with a reminder on basic Teams skills and on line security. Any questions please contact the RD tutor team in RDContacts@warwick.ac.uk |

Is you lab closed? The archives closed? Your research participants no longer available? When you worked on your research contingency plans you probably hadn’t planned for a pandemic (why would you?) This small group coaching session will focus on what you CAN be doing, what you can be learning, developing , practicing, or even accepting when, in reality, nothing can be done. Deliberately small group sizes. |
